GISA’s In-House team technical training program will start next week. In-House teams will be trained by GISA staff coaches from our select program, high school age players, and GISA’s DOC.
Throughout the program, teams will be trained in age specific technical aspects to improve their skill with the ball. During each team session, there will be 3 to 4 stations where the coaches will teach various technical skills. Once the teams have completed the stations, they will finish with a 15 to 20 minute scrimmage game against one of the other teams attending. It is recommended all coaches attend the sessions, so they can help assist with their team and learn new drills/skills and how to relay them to their players to help better our overall coaching in the club. This time is also a great opportunity for any coaches to ask any questions related to their coaching manuals or any other coaching questions they may need clarification for.

U8 Girls Monday September, 19 - 4 team’s time slot 5:15 – 6:15pm & 2 team’s 6:15 – 7:15pm
U8 Boys Monday September, 26 – 4 team’s time slot 5:15 – 6:15pm & 4 team’s 6:15 – 7:15pm
U10 Girls Monday October, 3 -4 team’s time slot 5:15 – 6:15pm & 2 team’s 6:15 – 7:15pm
U10 Boys Monday October, 10 - 4 team’s time slot 5:30 – 6:30pm
U14 Coed Monday October, 17 – 4 team’s time slot 5:15 – 6:15pm & 2 team’s 6:15 – 7:15pm
All practices for Team Technical Training Program will be held at Jekyll Soccer Complex on your age division’s fields.
